SALARY RANGE:  $28 - $38 per hour

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This part time position requires a responsible, hardworking, motivated, and mechanically inclined person to fill a Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Operator position in Chesapeake, Maryland.  Must have a valid driver’s license.
 
The daily work will include:
  • Mobilizing, operating, and demobilizing wastewater treatment systems
 
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous experience in wastewater treatment operations required
  • Able to do some heavy lifting and work in hot and cold environments
  • Experience working with piping (PVC, steel, HDPE)
  • Electrical and instrumentation experience preferred
  • Must possess strong mechanical and problem solving skills
  • Must be reliable and self-motivated
  • OSHA HAZWOPER certificate a plus
 
SALARY/BENEFITS:
An employee’s salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.  Extensive company-provided benefit package includes medical, dental, prescription, pension, and 401k plan.  Sevenson participates in E-Verify and must verify the identity and employment eligibility of all persons hired to work in the United States.  Sevenson will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g., H-1B visa, etc.) to fill a position.
